Mindmap that describes simple variant of Testing and Issue Management pattern. It includes two main parts: Test Scope and Open Issues.

Test Scope is devided into Areas - it can be components of the solution, for common IT project these parts can be GUI, Features, Architecture Components etc. There are a number of Test Sets for each Area. Test Set consists of Test Cases, each of them has the corresponding test type (functional, stress, smoke etc.). To build Testing Schedule special topics are added to each Test Set, they are First Check (when all test cases are performed for the new feature/component) and several Regression Testing tasks (when all test cases are performed again to make sure that the feature/component stays stable).  These tasks are assigned to Mind2Chart and can be managed by means of it. This part can be interpreted as project Test Plan.

Open Issues part is devided into areas too. All issues detected when performing test cases are added here with the corresponding date. They are marked as milestones in the Mind2Chart view for accomodation. Each issue produces corresponding Fix task, its duration is estimated and completeness can be monitored. So one gets "live plan" of the project in the context of Issue Management.
